With the exception of examinations, payments and results, everything else is handled jointly by the administration and students. The students play their role through groups called committees. So, there are committees for placements, food, hostel, sports, public relations and alumni relations. There is also a committee exclusively representing the students at the institute level and another committee that looks into extra and co-curricular activities in other institutes.
