It was a night Of the freshers , For the freshers and By the freshers batch of 2015-2017. It was the night of Aayaam 2015, the talent night organized by the Cultural Committee of Institute of Management, Nirma University. As the tagline suggests, it was a night when the juniors participated to explore and showcase their talents. The stage was open to all the first year students.
As is the culture in Nirma University, the evening opened with a prayer, thereafter followed by an extremely endearing performance by the kids of Saral, the in house NGO at the university. The kids sang and danced to their heart’s content and were treated to a thundering round of applause along with a standing ovation at the end of their performance. This was followed by a delightful mix of 22 power-packed performances consisting of karaoke performances, dances performances, fashion shows all structured with extremely entertaining anchoring.
The freshers batch of Chehre and Fiesta also added to the fun and frolic with their performances. Chehre, the dramatics club of IMNU, showcased their acting skills in a play replete with humor and sarcasm which had the audience rolling on their seats laughing. The party songs and the catchy tunes brought up by performers soon had the audience putting up a dance show of their own along with the performers. The night ended with a melodious song performance and lively dance performance of Fiesta. They truly set the stage on fire and captivated one and all.
The night was a huge success and will be etched in the memories of us Nirmayans for a long time to come. The juniors took full advantage of this opportunity to showcase their talents and made the night come alive with their performances. The event was graced by faculty members- Prof. Nikunj Patel, Prof. Chetan Jhaveri and Prof. Mallikarjun. Even the audience weren’t allowed to leave empty handed as a number of vouchers and coupons were distributed thanks to the event partners and sponsors, namely, Melt In, Estelle Salon and Spa, Dangee Dums, Dheemi Aanch, Shree Balaji Group, Aloft Hotel and Joules.
