Niche – The Marketing Club of IMNU conducted the 2013 edition of Brandwizer on 13th August, 2013. The event seeks to test the brand awareness and marketing basics of contestants. It consisted of two rounds. The first round was an eliminator round where teams of 3 members each were required to answer a quiz of 35 questions in 7 minutes. The quiz consisted of questions testing the awareness of company and product taglines, product ambassadors and company logos. In the second round, shortlisted teams were asked to design an advertisement ranging from 45 seconds to 120 seconds based on a Bollywood dialogue. The dialogue could be associated with any product, existing or imaginary. The time limit for this exercise was set at 10 minutes.
A total of 41 teams, of three members each, participated in the first round. Out of these, 5 teams were selected for the second round. The first prize went to the team given the tagline :”Tarikh pe Tarikh” (Product: SIM Card with unlimited validity) , second prize to the team with the tagline:”Tumse naa ho payee”(Product: Revital) and the third prize to the team with the tagline :”Kutte, main tera khoon pee jaoonga” (Product: Dog Catcher). The winners were given gift vouchers from Crossword.
