The ball was set rolling with the 18th Institute lecture being delivered by media baron Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman & founder of INDIA TV. He enthralled the audience, consisting of students & faculties of IMNU, as well as from other premier B-Schools of the country by narrating his rags to riches life story. In the process, he also provided insights about the characteristics needed in order to succeed despite all odds & highlighted the fact that there is no shortcut to success & one must be willing to go through the grind in order to reach to the top.
The momentum was carried forward with “NICANOR”, an event designed to test the creativity & innovation in management, organized by “Imprintz”, the HR club of IMNU. The event saw the students putting their creative side to the test to come up with innovations to prove their managerial intellect.
Two more events namely “Hunt Welly” & “Temple Run” concluded the first day of Perspective.” Hunt Welly” was designed to test the physical stamina along with the intellect of the participants as they engaged in a treasure hunt in the lush green 110 acres’ Nirma University campus . Temple Run was an adaptation of the hugely popular game of the same name & tested the agility & fitness of the participants.
