NICOM begins tomorrow

NICOM, the Annual International Management Conference hosted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University is set to begin the New Year on a high note for IMNU students! The event is to be conducted over the period of three consecutive days starting 5th January to 7th January, 2012. It will be inaugurated by Mr. R.S. Sodhi, Managing Director at GCMMF Limited (AMUL), Anand and Dr. Dan R. Jones, President at Texas A&M University Commerce, USA.

The event will be addressed by the brightest minds from the industry and academia who will hold onto the students opining about the opportunities, challenges and strategies for a sustainable growth. The Conference will provide insights on topics of relevance such as “Cultural Intelligence”, “The impact of eurozone on global recovery” , “Commercialization  Resulting from University Research”, “Being IntelliGentle”, “International Student Exchanges: Challenges and Opportunities” among others.

The event will discuss Global Recession to Global Recovery – a transitional phase for organizations worldwide. This transition comes with a gamut of opportunities and challenges and it’s the time when a decisive course of action needs to be taken by executives of various organizations in recovering lost revenues rather than cutting down on various costs.

NICOM 2012 promises to be a grand affair. A platform for sharing of ideas and knowledge, NICOM would see the presence of luminaries such as Ms. Srita Heide, CEO, M/s. Srita Heide Intl.
