A team of four students from IMNU has been declared the first runner-up in the Business Simulation game Chanakya, an annual national competition organized by All India Management Association’s (AIMA). The team comprising Shravan Kemtur, Shubhra Sharma, Ankit Shah and Vaibhav Maheshwari represented the western region of India at the finals in Coimbatore.
In the semi-finals, the team had to operate service BPO over three-quarters and operate it more profitably than the opponents, where the team IMNU finished second. Thereafter in the finals, the team operated a car manufacturing firm and optimised the number of Sedans, Hatchbacks etc. to maximize the profits. The team’s hard work paid off and it was able to finish as the first runner-up in the national finale as it gave tough competition to the winners, a team of Chartered Accountants from ICAC, Kolkata. PSGIM, ICAC, IMNU, SGBIM, SIBACA, MSM, SKIM, CDSM, BIM Trichy were some of the other institutes that participated at the event.
